The mission of the Marion County Economic Development Council is to coordinate and further all areas of economic development in Marion County. The members of the Economic Development Council are local civic, business and government leaders who volunteer their time to help develop economic opportunities in the county.

The Marion County Economic Development Council meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 12:00pm. The location of the meeting rotates each month to each of the communities in the county.
